About Me
My name is Camila-Sarojini and I am a 500h certified Yoga Teacher based in Barcelona, Spain. The name Sarojini means ‘lotus flower’ in Sanskrit, and was given to me after my Grandma Leela, who came from South India. A lotus flower holds deep symbolism, as it is rooted in the earth while gracefully floating upon water, representing stability amidst a constantly changing environment.
Through sharing my yoga practice, my intention is for us to embody the energy of a lotus: calm and steady, yet constantly striving for openness and elevation.
In my classes I combine traditional Hatha alignment with a dynamic Vinyasa flow, offering options to make the asanas accessible to all levels.
My teachings are grounded in the philosophy of the eight-limbed path, as articulated by Patanjali, where the physical aspect of the practice is just one component. Each class is thoughtfully structured to include pranayama, meditation, chanting, and is accompanied by a carefully curated soundtrack.
I believe that Yoga means turning within to witness the divine that lives in us and everything.

Yoga On Wax
Yoga on Wax began nearly a year ago, as a wish to bring together two things I love- yoga and vinyl records. For me, music and yoga have a very similar effect, as they both have the ability to quiet the mind’s noise and create a trance-like state of flow. Joining movement with sound is like medicine to me. In each session, I invite a friend to curate a live soundtrack of vinyl music, and a musician to play a song during our final relaxation. It’s a beautiful fusion of movement and sound that brings a sense of harmony to each practice.
Next Event: June 30th, Ruckus, Barcelona
